Joanne Hichen’s youth novel was originaly short-listed for the Sanlam Youth Literature Award of 2006, and was recently publshied by Ransom Publishing, UK.

This gem of a picture book, written by Dianne Case, was illustrated by Joanne Hichens under the name Jo Harvey, and was issued by Maskew Miller Longman in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday in 2008. It’s published in all 11 official languages as a tribute to his generous spirit. Madiba rules!
